The two-legged pup with a 3D printed wheelchair.

Little Tumbles needs to start learning his steps. But look at those shoes!

Friends of the Shelter Dogs in Athens, Ohio found Tumbles after he struggled to keep up with the rest of the litter. Especially when it came to feeding time.
After photos of the pup were posted on Facebook, a couple designed a bespoke wheelchair for Tumbles and asked the Ohio University Innovation Centre to make it using their 3D printer.
As Tumbles is still a puppy, he is at a great age to start learning to walk. Once the wheelchair is properly fitted he will need to go through physical therapy. In these photos you will see Tumbles second fitting of his wheelchair.

The puppy is not presently up for adoption, but with his foster mother having a particular soft spot for Tumbles he is expected to stay with her.
