In ReCap, scan points can be colour coded based on their elevation. This could be useful in working out if equipment can be installed into an existing building, i.e. checking height clearances.
You activate the colour range by going to the Display Settings > Colour Mode > Elevation.
Then you can configure it editing the ‘Gradient Ramp’, assigning the ‘Range’, and then setting the colour.
In the example image above, the range is set from 0 to 3000 mm. You can clearly see the overhead air filtration unit might be an issue. A ‘Distance’ check is then done to confirm the precise clearance.
