Pro Tips – New Revit Extension for Fabrication Add-In

Revit Tips

In Revit 2016, the new ‘Revit Extension for Fabrication’ Add-In allows users to import from/export to the Fabrication Software (.MAJ) file format.Ceoec

This means that Revit models produced with the supported ‘Fabrication Part’ items can be saved as the (.MAJ) format, and can then be opened and further manipulated in the Fabrication suite of software (CADmep, ESTmep and CAMduct).

Similarly, supported parts produced in the above Fabrication software can be opened for continued modelling in Revit.
